Shipping & Returns

1. Who We Are

DIY Machining is an independent private seller based in Italy. All products — both physical and digital — are handcrafted or produced individually. By placing an order you acknowledge and accept these terms.

2. Physical Products — Shipping

2.1 Processing Time

Physical items are made to order. Please allow 5–15 business days for production before your order ships. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order is dispatched.

2.2 Shipping Destinations & Estimated Delivery

• Italy: 2–5 business days after dispatch
• European Union: 5–10 business days after dispatch
• Rest of the World: 10–25 business days after dispatch

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs clearance, local postal services, or other factors outside our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs or third-party carriers.

2.3 Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight/dimensions of your order. All shipments are sent Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) — customs duties and import taxes are included in your order. You will not be charged any additional fees upon delivery.

2.4 Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage and the packaging. We will work with you to find a suitable resolution. For lost shipments, please allow the full estimated delivery window to pass before contacting us, as delays can occur.

3. Digital Products — Delivery

Digital products (files, plans, designs, etc.) are delivered electronically via a download link sent to your email address immediately after payment is confirmed. There are no shipping costs for digital products.

Please ensure you provide a valid email address at checkout. If you do not receive your download link within 24 hours, check your spam folder or contact us at diymachining@gmail.com.

4. Returns & Refunds

4.1 Physical Products

As all physical products are made to order, we generally do not accept returns unless the item is defective or significantly different from what was described. Under Italian and EU consumer law (D.Lgs. 206/2005 — Codice del Consumo), EU-based consumers have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, provided the product has not been used and is returned in its original condition.

To initiate a return, contact us at diymachining@gmail.com before sending anything back. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

4.2 Digital Products

Due to the nature of digital goods, all sales of digital products are final and non-refundable once the download link has been accessed, in accordance with Art. 59(l) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). If you experience a technical issue with your download, please contact us and we will resolve it promptly.

4.3 Defective or Wrong Items

If you receive a defective or incorrect item, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will offer a replacement, repair, or full refund at no additional cost to you.
