Who We Are\n\nDIY Machining is an independent private seller based in Italy. All products — both physical and digital — are handcrafted or produced individually. By placing an order you acknowledge and accept these terms.\n\n## 2. Physical Products — Shipping\n\n### 2.1 Processing Time\n\nPhysical items are made to order. Please allow **5–15 business days** for production before your order ships. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order is dispatched.\n\n### 2.2 Shipping Destinations & Estimated Delivery\n\n- **Italy:** 2–5 business days after dispatch\n- **European Union:** 5–10 business days after dispatch\n- **Rest of the World:** 10–25 business days after dispatch\n\nDelivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs clearance, local postal services, or other factors outside our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs or third-party carriers.\n\n### 2.3 Shipping Costs\n\nShipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight/dimensions of your order. All shipments are sent under **DAP — Delivered At Place (Incoterms® 2020)**. This means the seller covers transport to the destination country; any import duties, customs fees, and local taxes due upon arrival are the responsibility of the buyer.\n\n### 2.4 Taxes & Import Duties\n\n#### 🇮🇹 Italy & 🇪🇺 European Union\n\nDIY Machining is based in Italy. Orders shipped within Italy and the EU are subject to Italian **VAT (IVA)**. The standard rate is **22 %** and is already **included in the displayed price**. No additional import charges apply within the EU Single Market.\n\n#### Non-EU / International Orders\n\nOrders shipped outside the European Union are **exported VAT-free** (VAT is deducted at checkout for non-EU destinations). Upon arrival in your country, the shipment may be subject to local import duties, customs fees, and/or sales tax collected by your national customs authority. These charges are **not included** in our prices and are the sole responsibility of the recipient.\n\nBelow are indicative tax rates for common destination regions. These are provided for reference only — actual rates depend on the HS commodity code of your specific goods and may change without notice. DIY Machining is not responsible for any customs charges, delays, or seizures resulting from import regulations in the destination country.\n\n### 2.5 Lost or Damaged Shipments\n\nIf your order arrives damaged, please contact us within **7 days of delivery** with photos of the damage and the packaging. We will work with you to find a suitable resolution. For lost shipments, please allow the full estimated delivery window to pass before contacting us, as delays can occur.\n\n## 3. Digital Products — Delivery\n\nDigital products (files, plans, designs, etc.) are delivered electronically via a download link sent to your email address immediately after payment is confirmed. There are no shipping costs for digital products.\n\nPlease ensure you provide a valid email address at checkout. If you do not receive your download link within 24 hours, check your spam folder or contact us at [diymachining@gmail.com](https://diymachining.it/mailto:diymachining@gmail.com).\n\n## 4. Returns & Refunds\n\n### 4.1 Physical Products\n\nAs all physical products are made to order, we generally do not accept returns unless the item is defective or significantly different from what was described. Under Italian and EU consumer law (D.Lgs. 206/2005 — Codice del Consumo), EU-based consumers have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within **14 days** of receiving the goods, provided the product has not been used and is returned in its original condition.\n\nTo initiate a return, contact us at [diymachining@gmail.com](https://diymachining.it/mailto:diymachining@gmail.com) before sending anything back. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.\n\n### 4.2 Digital Products\n\nDue to the nature of digital goods, **all sales of digital products are final and non-refundable** once the download link has been accessed, in accordance with Art. 59(l) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). If you experience a technical issue with your download, please contact us and we will resolve it promptly.\n\n### 4.3 Defective or Wrong Items\n\nIf you receive a defective or incorrect item, contact us within **7 days** of delivery. We will offer a replacement, repair, or full refund at no additional cost to you.\n\n## 5.
